There is a new Burger King coming to Rockmart! The City Menus has obtained construction plans for a Burger King to replace the local Pizza Hut located on the Nathan Deal Bypass. Although Construction has not yet begun, site plans have already been approved; and plans for the relocation of the Pizza Hut are underway.
Located at 1000 Nathan Dean Bypass, the Burger King will take the place of the current Pizza Hut restaurant. While Pizza Hut is closed, construction will begin on a smaller outparcel for the new Pizza Hut that will offer delivery and pick-up only. The store will be located across the street from its current position and behind the McDonald’s, next to the Ingles Supermarket.
Although the current Pizza Hut is still in operation, it is expected to close in the coming weeks; and the construction of both the Burger King and the Pizza Hut outparcel will begin shortly after. Stay tuned for future updates on these projects and other upcoming ones in Rockmart.
