Carroll County School System has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2023 honor by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution and connection.
“The Atlanta Journal Constitution surveys employees all across metro Atlanta, and we are definitely excited to have them announce that Carroll County Schools is one of the Top Workplaces across the region,” Carroll County Schools Superintendent Scott Cowart said. “Our employees are our greatest asset, and the reward is especially important to me because it is based on what our own employees said about us in a neutral third-party survey.”
Energage, LLC, conducted surveys and said over 1,360 of the school system’s almost 2,000 employees participated.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
Carroll County Schools adds the AJC Top Workplace award to a trophy case that includes four consecutive Times-Georgian Reader’s Choice best employer awards and three consecutive Atlanta Business Chronicle best places to work awards.
“The Board is so pleased with the continued recognition of the culture we are building,” Carroll County Board of Education Chairman Bryant Turner said. “We are committed to supporting our people in a way that positively impacts them individually and also makes a difference for our students and communities. I believe the faculty, staff and administration – our team that has been assembled in this school system – is a key component of what makes this school system such a great place to work. We have the greatest school staff around, bar none.”
Carroll County Schools is the 22nd largest school district in Georgia and provides premier educational opportunities to almost 16,000 students in 23 schools and two College & Career Academy campuses.
