Great Greenbelt Cleanup + Bike Ride

Days are getting longer and warmer, nature is waking up, the air just smells better, (we will not talk about pollen), and everyone’s favorite trail needs a good cleaning to get it ready for the new season!

The Great GreenBelt CleanUp is a special, one-day SPRING CLEANING event suitable for volunteers of all ages and abilities. GGCU is a great occasion for everyone to shake off the winter gloom, go outside, and pick up litter on the beautiful Carrollton GreenBelt with friends, family, or coworkers!

Please join the Friends of Carrollton GreenBelt and Keep Carroll Beautiful for their annual trail cleaning on Saturday, April 1. Regular pickup packages are available for registered volunteers which can be picked up at the East Carrollton Park (metal pavilion) starting at 8:30 a.m. If you would like to join the Great Greenbelt Cleanup, register at this link https://forms.gle/iJJ6cAKUSLcvkHi49

Some basic rules for the cleanup:

Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants, bring your reusable water bottle, you can check locations of water fountains on www.carrolltongreenbelt.com – Keep Carroll Beautiful will be providing trash bags and latex gloves, you may want to bring work/garden gloves for comfort. If you’d like to check out other supplies (trash grabbers, bag holders, and so on) please let Keep Carroll Beautiful know in a message. Those will be available at both early pickup and the day of the event.
