Rob Smith can’t believe the amazing turnout to Crye-Leike Realty’s “How to Make a House Your Home” event last month. The realtor created the event to help establish the realty brokerage as an all-in-one home buying, selling, and everything in between resource to the west Georgia region. What he didn’t expect was the overwhelming community response – both for the Crye-Leike and for various vendors.
“The folks from Arrow gave several verbal quotes, Phil Blair from Allstate had four policies signed, and even Villa Rica mayor Gil McDougal made an appearance!” Smith exclaims.
Even with these successes, Smith emphasizes that the strongest feeling he takes away from the event is that the community he’s serving is interested, involved, and invaluable.
“Our whole thing is that we want to introduce and establish ourselves to the community and meet their real estate needs,” Smith says. He adds that that reach somehow extended to a couple from the Kingston area near Cartersville, who attended the event and expressed their interest in Crye-Leike’s services.
“Our very own Mary-Lynn Meyers processed two loan applications that day!” Smith beams.
Everyone, even interior design and decor vendors like Golden City Designs and Carson Creations, received business from the locals. That’s one of the many reasons why Smith wants to let readers in on a little secret: Crye-Leike Realty plans to host this event bi-annually to accommodate the community even further!
