The Peachtree City Tennis Center played host to a successful USTA Southern development camp over the weekend, drawing young tennis enthusiasts from across the Southern region.
Participants from states spanning Louisiana to South Carolina took part in the event, which also featured a dedicated wheelchair tennis court. The camp’s resounding success marked a significant achievement for both the facility and the city.
Maria Cercone, the organizer of the camp, expressed her gratitude and satisfaction with the event’s outcome. She stated, “Southern and I would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional hospitality we received during the Southern Sectional Camp this past weekend.
“The facility garnered praise from parents, players, and coaches alike, with everything running flawlessly. We are especially grateful for the use of the conference room, which greatly enhanced the camp experience. The facility proved to be the perfect venue for our camp!,” Cercone said.
