Just south of Newnan’s downtown historic Square, you’ll find the former Coca Cola Bottling Building at 167 Greenville Street flowing with an abundance of local artisans. It’s Blue Fern’s first weekend Indoor/Outdoor Artisans Market, on Saturday June 3 from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. and on Sunday June 4 from 11:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.
Shoppers will find vintage antiques, home decor, vintage clothing, jewelry, pottery, art, iron works, woodworks, and more! Sometimes, Blue Fern even has freshly baked artisan bread. This Saturday and Sunday the market will also feature Tarot reading, fresh cut flowers, and tattoos. Lori Duncan owner of Blue Fern Merchant tells us that anyone can be a vendor, “We have vendors from all over the local area including Atlanta-anybody can become a vendor as long as you have good stuff.”
Some of the Food Trucks Blue Fern has enjoyed over the past few months are Over the Top eats, Allie’s BBQ, and this month Eats by Backroads will be the special June market Food Truck! Lori cheerfully says, “We’ve had 750+ people come through each market. We just couldn’t do it without all our wonderful vendors.” The market will be taking a break for the month of July so make sure to stop by during June’s first weekend market to find an incredible treasure!
