Keep Carroll Beautiful uses this race to raise much-needed funds for our community recycling events, beautification efforts, and litter prevention & clean-ups.
The Route;
The race will start from the Target trailhead and follow the path towards the Carrollton City Schools Campus and down Ben Scott Boulevard before turning onto the shaded section along Buffalo Creek. Runners will conquer the hill leading to Hays Mill Trailhead and pass Laura’s Park getting on the bridge over the Buffalo Creek Shoals. (Water and restroom available in this area). A sharp turn and quick downhill lead to the Hays Mill Road Underpass (stay in your lane all the way through this limited visibility section) and you are almost at the turnaround point! Now just follow the path back to Target Trailhead and claim your medal, grab some snacks, and find a spot to rest!
