AGW Ice Cream’s Amber White has a new recipe up her sleeve for an even more exciting ice cream parlor and arcade. With the business’ 10th anniversary quickly approaching, Carrollton can expect a blast of new tastes and games that’ll enhance anything from birthday parties to youth group fellowships. The anniversary celebration will take place on September 23 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., when visitors can enjoy discounted ice cream and witness a ribbon cutting. AGW will have bouncy houses, face painting, carnival games, and prizes!

The public will also have the chance to recreate photos of themselves at AGW that the shoppe has posted via Facebook over the past decade.

“We would love to have the kids who came to that event ten years ago come to this event,” White commented last week. “A lot of them have been regulars, and we have watched them grow.”

White and her husband Mitch look back on the past decade and are “blown away” by the growth and support AGW Ice Cream has received. When Mitch suggested AGW’s business ideas to her back in 2013, she didn’t even think it was a good idea. However, eventually, hearing about the first-date stories, proposals, and even the high schooler hangouts her customers had experienced there had her convinced that the shoppe holds a cherished spot in the community and in people’s hearts.

White then threw herself into creating event packages and other services like the food truck so customers have various options to choose from to help them celebrate any event. You can book their food truck on their website here. AGW also offers four birthday party packages: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, each with increased perks. Prices and specific deals can be viewed here.

“I want to make birthday parties as complete as possible,” White exclaimed. “We take care of so many things, [so] we have to make this easy for moms!”

Each two-hour party package includes an attendant for you and your guests, a pre-set and decorated table, and a certain number of redeemable points kids can use in the arcade. Of course, the birthday child can receive an elevated experience with thousands of redeemable points and choices of AGW’s silly shakes.

Birthday parties aren’t the only way customers can have a fun time. AGW recently released their new and improved menu with freshly made appetizers and even vegan ice cream!

“Cookie Dough Chip and Classic Cookie will be our dairy-free options,” White discloses. These latest additions will be like biting into cookie dough with all the creaminess and texture that raw cookie dough lends.

AGW will also be serving spinach dip, queso and chips, and pizza by the slice to accommodate any group size. Nachos will continue to be a fan favorite. White also divulges that there will be specialty sundaes each month, giving anyone an even greater reason to visit AGW regularly. Additionally, White shares that the arcade has new Stranger Things-themed pinball machines and new quarter prize machines. She looks forward to amending and adding to the arcade in the near future as well.
