For the second consecutive year Central High School has been awarded the Regions Bank Director’s Cup, Region Winner award. Central High School Principal Mr. Kelly Edwards and Athletic Director Mr. Chuck Robinson accepted the Region Winner award for Region 7-AAAA of the Georgia High School Athletic Association (GHSA).
The Regions Bank Director’s Cup recognizes those athletic departments in all Georgia High School Athletic (GHSA) classifications who have excelled and shown superior performance.
Since the 1999-2000 school year, the GADA has presented this award annually. Award-winning schools will receive a Regions Bank Director’s Cup trophy and wall banner.
“We are proud to accept this honor for the second year in a row,” stated Mr. Kelly Edwards.
