LaGrange, Circle Around to Circa Coffee, Opening October 7

Slow down and enjoy those crispy autumn breezes with Circa Coffee, Lagrange’s newest coffee spot opening October 7, located at 202 Greenville Street. Offering everything from cozy coffees to aesthetically pleasing space rentals, Circa Coffee is sure to be your favorite hangout soon. Their menu exhibits essentials like chai tea lattes to their more signature biscoff frappuccino to tasty tomato basil soup.

Owner Lisa Lytle planted her first business, Circa Antiques Marketplace, back in Tyrone a few years ago, but she dreamed of more. However, there stood an obstacle: massive downtown business closures and an elementary school shutdown had created a quieter “sleepy” town, as she describes it. Lytle, though, took advantage of the quieter area and made the most of it.

“I wanted a place where the community would come together for different reasons: evening DIY classes, Saturday morning meetups, and even a silent auction of great antique finds from up and down the east coast,” Lytle imagines. “But mostly my biggest hope was to have a coffee shop that could offer more than just a cup of coffee and a pastry. It was the vision of creating an experience of slowing down and really just enjoying your time.”

Thus, Lytle expanded her antique store in Tyrone to include a coffee bar. The positive response proved to inspire an even greater expansion – first to other parts of their building and eventually to an even larger city. Circa’s LaGrange location is set to open on October 7.

Despite her own ideas taking off, Lytle finds strength and stamina in her relationships with her visitors.

“The first gift I got from one of my customers was a piece of art that had the quote ‘She took the leap and built her wings on the way down.’ And that is exactly what I did,” she beams.

Lytle wants all interested baristas, cooks, and bakers to apply here to help her staff the Lagrange location. Surrounded by warm neutrals, soothing scents, and sprigs of greenery, the coffee shop is sure to draw visitors and workers alike.

The shop plans for its hours to be:

Monday – Friday : 6:30 A. M. to 7:00 P. M.

Saturday: 8:00 A. M. to 7:00 P. M.

Sunday: 9:00 A. M. to 5:00 P. M.
