Join the Newnan Carnegie Library and special guest Meredith Greer, the Volunteer Coordinator from Affinis Hospice Newnan, for a discussion on EOL care (End of Life), on Friday, October 13th at 10:00am for an informational session about how hospice is comfort care, the kind that can bring opportunities to truly live at the end of life, and much more. Using theatrical and artistic skills or applying what she learned with the Going with Grace’s Death Doula Course all while teaching, has become an important part of sharing what compassionate End of Life care is and should be. Please come with questions!
“We’re looking forward to having Meredith here to share this information with the community and for the donation of new books on this subject matter added to our collection. It’s helpful to learn all the positive, compassionate possibilities in terms of planning for comfort care at the end of life that can benefit all involved,” says Jessica Dunnington, the Newnan Carnegie Library Program Associate.
Online registration is required for this program, so please visit the Newnan Carnegie Library website calendar page to sign up with Eventbrite.
