ChildrenConnect Sparkles Thanks to Amazon Volunteers

ChildrenConnect Museum got a good old fashion scrub down on Monday 10/9 and is now sparkling. Amazon employees generously volunteered their time and elbow grease to scrub paint off the floors from creative art projects, sanitize toys that young children love to explore, and deep clean the bathrooms. Not the most glamorous work, but the “Glamazon” group including Catherine Caccamo, Josh Albritton, and Janiya Smith made it fun and impactful!

The Amazon Fulfillment Center off Bridgeport Blvd in Moreland encourages employees to join an Amazon Affinity Group, to use paid time to volunteer together once a month to make an impact in the local community. Affinity Groups include Glamazon-LGBTQ, Women, Latino, Family, Black Employee Network, Disabilities, Warriors-Veterans and Body Positive Peers.

There are numerous volunteer opportunities at the ChildrenConnect Newnan Children’s Museum from assisting with programming and events to behind the scenes marketing and fundraising. Learn more about volunteer opportunities at www.ChildrenConnectMuseum.com/Volunteer
