Villa Rica Weekend Fun for the Whole Family, October 28

Villa Rica and neighbors, you are in for a treat or two these coming months. Villa Rica’s vibrant downtown will showcase various events from a Halloween 5k to holiday shopping to autumn-themed contests. Below are the details!

October 28th

  • 8:30 A. M. –  Zombie Run 5k and One Mile Fun Run

Begin the day at The Mill Amphitheater with the whole family snaking through downtown Villa Rica! Run in the usual sweats or your costume. Click here to sign up.

  • 10:00 A. M. – 12:00 P. M. – Thrill at the Mill

Various downtown businesses will set up at the amphitheater for daylight trick-or-treating fun. Thousands of pieces of candy will be up for grabs. Families will be able to compete in a group Halloween costume contest. The top three groups will be awarded! Families and friend groups are encouraged to be as creative as possible!

  • 12:00 P. M. – ‘til dark – Lunch and Dinner on Main

After all the festivities, you and your family can enjoy Villa Rica’s variety of tastes: from Mexican to BBQ to Louisiana cuisine. 

  • After Dark – Pine Mountain Gold Museum

Gates to the park will open at 5:00 P. M. where you and your family can enjoy treats, Halloween photoshoots, and trick-or-treating. At 6:00 P. Villa Rica Main Street Director Alisa Doyle shares that watching everyone have so much fun, especially families, brings so much joy. “Some people go all out!” she exclaims, describing the Halloween costuming.
