Veterans Day: World War 1 & Beyond

Join the Newnan Carnegie Library and guest speaker Willard Womack November 7th at 2:30pm as we discuss Veterans Day and its history. We will cover World War I, the Veterans Day holiday, stories of veterans, well-known and not, and more.

“Our community lobes learning about history! We have amazing guest speakers and the topics are always super fascinating, so people really get into them,” says Jessica Dunnington, the Newnan Carnegie Library Program Associate. “Mr. Womack is an engaging and knowledgeable speaker and we look forward to having him back at the Carnegie!”

Online registration is required for this event, so please visit the Newnan Carnegie Library website calendar page to sign up.
