It was a GLOW-TASTIC Halloween at the ChildrenConnect Newnan Children’s Museum during their annual Trick-or-Treat Glow Forest, generously sponsored by United Bank. Thousands of trick-or-treaters looking for over the top decorations, fantastic costumes, and tasty treats were blown away by the famous Halloween experience in downtown Newnan. The streets were blocked off making it safe for everyone and ChildrenConnect Museum was located right in the middle of all the spooky action!
Over 2,500 people lined up to walk through the Glow Forest to experience a psychedelic neon forest filled with whimsical trees, mushrooms, flowers, and of course grab some treats. Tori Hansen, Board President of ChildrenConnect, said “We love being part of the best block party of the year and bringing a family friendly, not too scary, Halloween experience to the community. The best part is meeting new families. I can’t tell you how many parents said ‘wow, I had no idea this was here!’ Our programs are most appropriate for ages 11 months – 12 years old, so it’s exciting to connect with families and share the engaging programs available to them at the museum.”
Don’t worry, if you missed the Trick-or-Treat Glow Forest, ChildrenConnect plans to continue the tradition and host it again next year! You can learn more about ChildrenConnect program, volunteer, and donation opportunities at www.ChildrenConnectMuseum.com
