Temple residents do not have to wonder anymore but can prepare to have a one-stop-shop for all their convenience-store needs as a QuikTrip is making its way to town. This new addition will be equipped with 16 auto fueling positions, five diesel fueling positions, ample automobile parking, and nine truck parking positions. The development type is being classified as a truck stop, but the store will reflect your average QuikTrip location. This is a 7,318-square-foot project including the store, auto canopy, and truck canopy.

The property located at 946 Carrollton Highway was originally in the Carroll County jurisdiction, but will be annexed into the city of Temple. According to the Development of Regional Impacts form completed by Community Development Director Deidra Walker, an estimated completion date for this project could be 2025.
