Due to predicted bad weather conditions, the Christmas in Carrollton market and parade scheduled for this Saturday, December 2, have been postponed until next Saturday, December 9. The showing of the SEC championship game at the Amp is canceled. The Christmas Market will be 10am — 3pm and the parade will start at 5:30pm. Please join us downtown next Saturday for Christmas in Carrollton.
Christmas Market: 10am-3pm
Explore downtown and shop the Christmas Market for unique, hand-made gifts like jewelry, baked goods, candles, soap and woodworking from local artisans and small businesses. The market will be located around the Amp and alleyway. No vendor spots are available for 2023.
Santa’s Workshop at the Amp: 10am-3pm
Snap pictures with Santa (with your phone or camera) and enjoy kids’ crafts and activities.Kids can send their wish list directly to the North Pole by dropping it into Santa’s mailbox located next to Horton’s Books and Gifts.
Christmas Parade: 5:30pm
The annual Carrollton Christmas Parade begins at 5:30pm. This year’s parade theme is An Old Fashioned Christmas. The parade will begin on Bradley Street near Minden Avenue and progress north through Adamson Square. It will continue down Rome Street and conclude at the intersection with Spring Street. Parade applications are no longer being accepted.
The Optimist Club of Carrollton will be the parade’s grand marshals again this year.
