A popular Mexican food chain is making its way to Sharpsburg. Members of the community can expect a La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant to be constructed soon. The 1.78-acre construction site located on Lot 1, Fischer Marketplace is zoned C-7C, Commercial Major Shopping District. The 6,532-square-foot restaurant will have a concrete sidewalk around the perimeter of the building to make navigating the entrance easier. In addition, the structure will have ADA ramps with tactical warning strips, five ADA-designated parking spots to fulfill the requirement, and ADA signage making it clear where these areas are. There will be a total of 108 parking spaces to fulfill the requirement of one space per 80 square feet of restaurant area plus one space per employee “on the greatest shift.” Based on the size of the building, 93 spaces for customers and 12 for employees would suffice, according to the construction plans.

The restaurant will offer many favorite Mexican dishes like various cheese dips for appetizers, tacos, soups, salads, quesadillas, bowls with rice and other ingredients of your choice, nachos, enchiladas, and burritos. There are also options based on meat preferences, vegetarian meals, Tex-Mex, and seafood. La Parrilla offers a lunch menu Monday through Friday, a kids’ menu, and the option for to-go orders.
