During a recent Senoia City Council meeting, a variance application for Chestlehurst Road was approved. This particular variance allows for parking in front of a future Waffle House instead of at the rear and sides, which is a requirement of the Commercial Corridor Overlay district. The future Waffle House will be located between Bank of the Ozarks and O’Reilly Auto Parts on the eastern side of Highway 16. Grading recently started, and the new restaurant should start taking shape at the beginning of 2024.
In other news, a new Big Peach car wash will soon start construction across from the new Publix development. Borgo Italia is now hiring in downtown Senoia and should open soon.
