Max Kubik is U.S. Paralympic National Champion

Central High School student Max Kubik is the new U.S. Paralympic National Champion in the 1500-meter freestyle. Max, along with his relay team, won the gold medal in the 4×100 meter Medley Relay, and the bronze in the 400-meter freestyle relay. He placed 5th overall in the 200-meter freestyle and 200-meter breaststroke, 9th in the 100-meter breaststroke and 7th in the 200-meter individual Medley. 

Max was recently named a Scholastic All-American for Swim Across America. He is a member of the Central High School Swim Team and is coached by Ms. Ginny Chandler.
