The Newnan Junior Service League (NJSL) will host The Big Event: Mardi Gras Casino Night on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at The Newnan Centre, located at 1515 Lower Fayetteville Road in Newnan. The Big Event is a NJSL fundraiser benefiting their non-profit grant recipient and the NJSL Scholarship Program. This year, the League has chosen The Coweta Samaritan Clinic as their grant recipient. The clinic is a staple of the community, providing free primary medical care to uninsured residents of Coweta County who meet established income limits. The clinic would like to purchase a portable x-ray machine to better serve their patients with dental needs. This machine will allow the clinic to assist in prioritizing patients’ dental care.
The Ladies of the Newnan Junior Service League invite the public to Let the Good Times Roll! Try your luck with the Silent Auction, 50/50 Raffle, and Casino Games with Prizes! Casino Games include: Poker, Blackjack, Craps, and Roulette. New Orleans themed heavy hor d’oeuvres, an open bar, and starter funny money are included with each ticket. Additional funny money will be available for purchase. This year brings a live DJ, who will keep the party going and the prizes flowing! It’s a night like no other in Newnan that you don’t want to miss!
