The Rodeo Coming to Franklin on April 19 & 20

The Heard County Chamber of Commerce is hosting the second annual rodeo on Friday and Saturday, April 19th and 20th, 2024. Gates will open both nights at 6:00 P.M. Jack Christopher will sing on Friday night from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. and Jonathan East will sing Saturday night from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M.

The IPRA and SPRA-sanctioned rodeo will begin at 8:00 P.M. and will feature cowboys and cowgirls competing in eight events each night. Come out and enjoy great food, rides, and family entertainment!

Friday is Family Night, and one child will be admitted free with each paying adult. Discounted tickets are available until April 12th online here. Presale tickets are available at the Heard County Chamber of Commerce office at 103 Main Street in Franklin or online until Friday, April 12th. Parking will be free. Tickets purchased at the gate are $20 for ages 12 and up, $10 for ages 4 through 11, and children under 3 get in for free.

The general admission gate for the rodeo is located at the Heard County Covered Arena on Old Field Road, Franklin, Georgia. The contestant entrance will be at 12080 Hwy. 100 in Franklin.

Entry fees for contestants are $80 for cardholders and $90 for permit holders. The call-in number for contestants is 337-427-6336 and the call-in date is Monday, April 15th. The added prize money is $500, and the contractor is Oubre Rodeo.
