Buchanan Piggly Wiggly reopens from Fire

This past February the Piggly Wiggly located in downtown Buchanan experienced a fire in the middle of the night. The supermarket had to be closed for a little over three months as construction crews cleaned up the mess and renovated.

On May 22nd, Piggly Wiggly reopened to the public with an appearance from the Pig! Store management posted on Facebook a message with team members and the Pig reading, “WE’RE BAAAACCKKKKK! Come see us! We’re OPEN!!!”

We attempted to contact store management for additional details, but our requests were not answered in time for publication.
