butter’dudder’s 6th Anniversary Celebration Means Giving Back

It’s Christmas in July!  Eggnog, Milk and Cookies, and Peppermint Mocha will all be making a limited-time appearance next week at butter’dudder! In celebration of the shop’s sixth anniversary, a portion of proceeds will go toward Bremen PD’sand Carrollton Fraternal Order of Police’s “Shop with a Cop” charity and Walton County Sheriff’s Office’s “Shop with a Hero” initiative, which will bless local children who may not receive much during the Christmas season.

The fundraiser will take place at the Bremen, Carrollton, and Monroe shop locations from noon to 9:00 P. M. Be on the lookout for their ice cream trucks as well, as they will be touring various neighborhoods in Carrollton and one located at the Bremen Police Department from 2-6pm.

It’s safe to say that our law enforcement are excited for the occasion.

Mike Rafferty, one of butter’dudder’s owners, encourages locals to join them in the anniversary celebration and to bring friends and family, too. Dairy allergies? No worries. butter’dudderoffers dairy-free ice cream and sorbet options. Check out their website for a full list of ice cream flavors and other treats.

April Rafferty, Mike’s sister-in-law and marketing specialist for the shop says, “For anyone who is asking: yes, Vietnamese Coffee Oreo is still available!” Remaining the top choice by far, butter’dudder churns out gallons of the flavor every week for its raving fans.

Originally from New Hampshire and Massachusetts, the Rafferty family gradually made their way down to Georgia and established their business. To their surprise, the community immediately showered them with support and encouragement.

“We’re big into community and we are blessed to be accepted here,” Mike shares. “We have become close with the Bremen Police Chief and he has been so supportive of us. Southern hospitality is a real thing!”

Donating to “Shop with a Cop” is their way of giving back to the community. Anyone can participate! Enjoy the limited-edition flavors on July 24th from 12:00 P. M to 9:00 P. M. You can also fill out an application for employment to join the butter’dudder team, which was awarded a Top Local Workplace Award for 2024 by Homebase.

Mike, April, and the whole Rafferty family look forward to seeing you on the 24th!
