Leadership Carroll, a flagship program of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, successfully held its Healthcare and Public Safety session on July 16, 2024. This event brought together local leaders, healthcare professionals, and public safety officials to gain valuable insights and explore key resources and operations within these sectors.
The session included informative presentations and interactive discussions, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare and public safety landscape in Carroll County. Participants visited Tanner Health System, Carrollton Fire Department, and Carrollton Police Department, and heard from PASS, Carroll County Mental Health Advocates, Remarkable Paws Pet Therapy Program, and Sheriff Langley.
Leadership Carroll is designed to educate and prepare existing and emerging leaders committed to shaping the future of Carroll County. The program offers participants an eight-month journey with day-long sessions on various topics, including leadership styles, community assets, economic development, tourism, healthcare, public safety, education, agribusiness, and effective team building.
