Workout Anytime will open on August 19 at 1055 Nathan Dean Pkwy in Rockmart.
Owner and Operator, William Baker played basketball at Chattanooga State University before transferring to Southern Polytechnic, and his wife Dorothea participated in track. William went on to work as a powerline lineman and traveled the country, eventually landing in California as a compliance inspector, while Dorothea became a registered nurse. William still found an oasis in gyms over the years and found himself wanting to move back home to Georgia. They came across the opportunity with Workout Anytime and saw it as a sign, so they decided to return to their roots and open their own gym as a fitness oasis for the Rockmart community.
