This clinic resides in The Birches on Maple, a 55+ community, and will operate Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is committed to serving the healthcare needs of residents of The Birches on Maple and the surrounding community.
The clinic will be led by Ruth Allison Griffin, FNP-C, an experienced and dedicated family nurse practitioner.
Griffin is a board-certified family nurse practitioner serving the Carrollton, Ga., community and surrounding areas. She earned her first bachelor’s degree in dietetics and nutrition from the University of Mississippi, providing her with a special interest in how nutrition plays an integral role in overall physical health and well-being. She earned a bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where she served as a registered nurse in the intensive care and post-anesthesia care units. She continued to advance her studies, earning a master’s in nursing as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) from UAB. Before joining Tanner Primary Care at the Birches, she practiced at Birmingham Internal Medicine Associates and, most recently, at Primary Care of Bremen.
“Tanner Primary Care at The Birches will deliver high-quality care and personalized attention to each patient,” said Clint Hoffman, senior vice president of Tanner Medical Group, one of metro Atlanta’s largest multi-specialty physician groups. “We invite The Birches on Maple residents and our community to experience the exceptional services provided by our dedicated team.”
