WHAT: Kendra Scott brought joy through giving back to patients at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta via the Kendra Cares program. Kendra Cares is a creative arts program that brings the magic and joy of Color Bar® to pediatric hospitals across the country, giving patients and their caregivers a break from their everyday to design their own piece of customized jewelry at no cost. Patients are guided through creative activities consisting of multiple stations including choosing from colored stones and metal styles to create a custom piece of jewelry and reflecting on their experience through writing a note of gratitude to someone special in their life.
To continue their support, Kendra Scott invites the Atlanta community to shop and give back through their Kendra Gives Back program! Supporters can visit any metro Atlanta Kendra Scott store on Friday, September 13th from 1-3pm and mention Children’s at checkout for 20% of each purchase to benefit the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. Those who cannot shop in-person have the option to shop online September 13-14 and use the code GIVEBACK-CHOA24 at checkout at www.kendrascott.com.
