Meeting and learning about each council member are highlights of my work. Their feedback, opinions, and perspectives provide insight Georgia Department of Education leadership, staff, and I use to make the best possible policy choices.”

Student Advisory Council members participate in a service project as part of their commitment to the organization. This project allows students to engage with their community, develop leadership skills, and contribute to meaningful causes. The council meets four times throughout the school year to demonstrate commitment to their roles and responsibilities and contribute effectively to the council’s activities.
