Carrollton will be the scene of several Halloween-themed events during the next few weeks, from trick-or-treating and movies to art workshops.
Kids ten and younger can decorate their own mini pumpkin and enjoy Butter’dudder ice cream (while supplies last) while watching a screening of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown at the Amp at the Great Pumpkin Decorating event, October 21 at 6pm. Sponsored by Butter’dudder, Walmart and Home Depot.
The Halloween classic movies, Hotel Transylvania (October 14 at 10am) and Hocus Pocus (October 25 at 7pm) will be shown on the Amp’s big screen. Sponsored by Almon Funeral Home and Chapel, Tammie Pero Allstate and 3:16 Family Medicine Kids’ Corner.
Children will travel through Adamson Square, collecting candy and goodies from merchants during Trick-or-Treat Downtown, Saturday, October 26 from 10 – 11:30am.
Artistic ghouls and goblins ages: 5 – 10 are invited to It’s a Halloween Party! workshop at Carrollton Center for the Arts, October 26, 2 – 4:30pm. Participants are encouraged to wear a costume and create a spectacular, spooky haunted house with instructor Lori Green. Get more information and register at carrolltonarts.com.
