The Carnegie Library and the Newnan Carnegie Library Foundation invites the public to join us on Thursday, October 24th at 6:00 pm for a celebration of the 15th Anniversary Grand Reopening of the Carnegie Library. The fun will begin at Greenville St. Park and move to the Carnegie.
The event will start at 6:00 pm at Greenville St. Park. Community members will have a chance to create personalized paper bag lanterns. We will then have a lantern walk to the Carnegie as dusk falls. At the Carnegie we will have a reception featuring refreshments, and a video talking about the story behind the renovations and grand reopening as well as hear from Mayor Keith Brady and a member of the Newnan Carnegie Library Foundation. We will also be sharing results from our community assessment.
“We are so excited to celebrate this special anniversary,” says Carnegie Director, Susan Crutchfield. “The Carnegie is such a special asset to the community, and we want to enjoy a wonderful evening together!”
The Carnegie asks that for RSVPs on Eventbrite, so we know how many people to expect https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1028309119257
