Carrollton’s annual Christmas parade will bring Santa Claus, football and kids’ activities to downtown, December 7.
The day’s festivities start at 4pm when the South’s top teams face off in the SEC championship game on the Amp’s big screen.
There will be tables with kids’ crafts and activities set up on Adamson Square and children can send their Christmas wish list directly to the North Pole by dropping it into Santa’s mailbox.
The evening’s main event, the city’s annual Christmas parade, begins at 5:30pm. This year’s parade will feature a Nutcracker theme. The parade will start on Bradley Street near Minden Avenue and travel north through Adamson Square. It will continue down Rome Street and conclude at the intersection with Spring Street.
The Optimist Club of Carrollton will be the parade’s grand marshals again this year and, as always, Santa Claus will be the parade’s guest of honor.
