Carrollton Middle School eighth grader Aaron Johnson was selected for the All-State GMEA Middle School Tenor/Bass Chorus. Aaron demonstrated mastery in the two-part audition process to earn a place in the choir. Aaron’s talent and rigorous preparation, including solo performance, scale mastery and sight-reading proficiency, were on display in a performance at the Classic Center in Athens on Feb. 15.
