The Community Foundation of West Georgia is reminding local organizations and educators that time is running out to apply for four impactful grant opportunities. Applications for these grants will close soon, and those interested are encouraged to submit their requests before the deadlines.
The four grant programs currently open include:
- Power of the Purse Grants – Focused on initiatives that improve the lives of women and children in Carroll, Haralson or Heard counties. Deadline: March 31, 2025.
- Art Enrichment Grants – Providing funding for art and music teachers in Carroll, Haralson, and Heard counties to support creative classroom projects and enhance arts education. Deadline: April 1, 2025.
- Trinka Davis Grants – Supporting programs and initiatives that benefit veterans and their families in Carroll county. Deadline: April 1, 2025.
- Church Improvement Grants – Helping African American churches in Carroll county with facility improvements to better serve their congregations and communities. Deadline: April 1, 2025.
“These grants provide essential funding to help our local nonprofits, educators, and faith-based organizations make a real difference,” said Kim Jones, President of CFWG. “We encourage all eligible applicants to take advantage of these opportunities before the deadlines pass.”
