The Carroll County Community Chorus will celebrate the planet just in time for Earth Day with its For the Beauty of the Earth concert at the Carrollton Center for the Arts, April 11 – 12.
The group’s spring concert features nature-centered songs such as John Rutter’s For the Beauty of the Earth, Haydn’s The Heavens are Telling and the timeless Hymn to the Earth by Corey Field.
“We’ll also sing favorites like What a Wonderful World, Here Comes the Sun, I’ve Got the World on a String and Shenandoah,” Chorus Director Terry Lowry said. “The music on this program is gorgeous and our chorus is working hard to give our audience a really great concert.”
This performance is sponsored by United Community Bank.
Tickets are $10 and are on sale at the center’s box office or online at carrolltonarts.com.
