On April 17, Carrollton High School senior Jacob Ricks was honored with the Alpha Kappa Delta Janice Mock Memorial Scholarship. Alpha Kappa Delta, an International Honorary Organization for Women Educators, annually supports graduating seniors in the Carroll County area through scholarship opportunities. This particular scholarship is named in memory of Janice Mock, a retired Carrollton Elementary School teacher who left a lasting impact on education in the community.
