Jessica Miller named to the Top 7 West Georgia Region Most Positive Athletes

Central High School senior Jessica Miller was named to the Top 7 Most Positive Athletes in the West Georgia region by the Positive Athlete Association. Positive Athlete recognized students in the 9-12 grade based on their character rather than their athletic performance. This year the program will recognize 6,4000 student-athletes and coaches from over 440 high schools. Only about 7% of those nominated are recognized as regional winners.

Each regional winner has overcome difficult circumstances or has significantly given back to their community and school. Positive Athlete focuses on optimism, putting the team first, encouraging others, being respectful, admitting imperfections, having a true heart for others, and embracing service.

Jessica has been a member of Track & Field Team, Beta Club, and National Spanish Honor Society. She was recently recognized as an honor candidate for graduation, she received the McDonald’s Leadership Award recognition, and the 24Strong Foundation inaugural award. Jessica plans to attend the University of Georgia in the fall.
