Raising Cane’s Eyes Future Location in Newnan, Plans Under Review by City

Chicken finger fans, get ready: Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is setting its sights on Newnan. The fast-growing restaurant chain is currently eyeing a future location east of I-85, and a city construction map has confirmed that site plans are under review.

Once we are comfortable with releasing the details of the new location, we will. The site is currently occupied by another operating restaurant.

Raising Cane’s is known for its simple, focused menu of fresh, never frozen chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, and its signature Cane’s Sauce. The Louisiana-based chain, founded in 1996, has developed a passionate following across the country thanks to its quality ingredients and consistent service.

The brand has been expanding rapidly across Georgia and the Southeast, with recent openings in cities like Athens, Buford, McDonough, and others. If approved, the Newnan location would further grow Raising Cane’s presence along the I-85 corridor and offer another popular dining option on the city’s east side. Another Raising Cane’s is also under review for Columbus, GA at Columbus Park Crossing.

The city is currently evaluating the proposed development, which includes site layout, traffic impact, and infrastructure considerations. While details are still being finalized, buzz is already building among residents who are eager to welcome Raising Cane’s to town.
