A new exhibit at the Carrollton Center for the Arts will showcase the work of University of West Georgia artists, starting August 11.
The art on display in The Road to Here: Works by Selected Emerging Artists from UWG is by selected winners of the 2025 UWG juried student exhibition at the arts center. Artists include Arabella Brown, Hailey Jackson and Celine Sophie Sapp.
“What intrigues me the most about this show is the use of media,” said Visual Arts Coordinator Marcella Kuykendall. “No matter if the artist is coming from painting, photography, or sculpture, each small body of work incorporates a mix of materials in unique and fascinating ways.”
The center will celebrate the show with a free public reception, September 4, 5pm – 7pm.
The Road to Here exhibit runs through September 22.
