Eat Safe Coweta is proud to announce a new partnership with Lodge Cast Iron to donate brand-new cast iron cookware to the Health, Wellness, and Nutrition classes at Newnan High School. The donation includes a full range of high-quality cooking tools, such as skillets, griddles, and Dutch ovens, all of which will be used by students during hands-on cooking projects throughout the school year.
This effort is part of Eat Safe Coweta’s ongoing mission to promote food safety awareness while giving back to the programs and people who help keep Coweta County well-fed, healthy, and safe. By supporting local education initiatives like this one, Eat Safe Coweta aims to foster a stronger connection between food safety, nutrition, and real-world kitchen skills.
“We believe education and community support go hand in hand,” said a representative from Eat Safe Coweta. “This partnership is one way we can invest in the next generation of food leaders right here in Coweta.”
The donation marks another step forward in building meaningful, local partnerships that enhance both food safety and nutrition education in the community.
