Bremen Board of Education Names New High School Principal

The Bremen Board of Education held its regular October meeting on Monday night, during which members approved multiple personnel changes, reviewed the district’s financial status, and announced new leadership at Bremen High School. The board unanimously approved the September financial reports, indicating steady revenue and ongoing fiscal stability. Bremen City Schools continues to maintain a positive financial position as the school year progresses.

The highlight of the evening was the announcement of Whitt Brown as the new principal of Bremen High School. Brown has served the district since 2019 in various leadership roles, including assistant and associate principal. He brings nearly two decades of experience in education and previously worked in the Haralson and Heard County school systems. Christian praised Brown’s leadership, saying, “Whitt Brown is a proven leader who embodies the values of Bremen City Schools. His commitment to students, staff, and families is unwavering, and his leadership has already had a tremendous impact on our district.”

The board also approved several staffing updates and discussed upcoming opportunities for students, including international travel and schoolwide field trips. The meeting concluded with recognition of the district’s continued academic and extracurricular success, along with appreciation for the efforts of staff and administrators across all schools.
