Grand opening celebration to include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, bag giveaway, and product samples.

On Monday, October 27th, Trader Joe’s will open a new store in Peachtree City, Georgia. The new store is located at 258 City Circle, in the Avenue Shopping Center. This 8,608 sq. ft. store will be the first Trader Joe’s in Peachtree City and on the south side of Atlanta. Moments before doors open at 9 am, there will be a brief ribbon-cutting. Store Captain Reggie Jones and Trader Joe’s Crew Members will be on hand to welcome customers to their new neighborhood store.

As a neighborhood grocery store, Trader Joe’s prides itself on hiring from our local community. The store hired sixty new Crew Members from surrounding areas and transferred in others from existing Trader Joe’s stores.

In addition, through the company’s longstanding Neighborhood Shares Program, the new Peachtree City Trader Joe’s will donate 100% of products that go unsold but remain fit to enjoy to a range of non-profit, community-based organizations, seven days a week.
