Work is underway to bring J. Alexander’s to Peachtree City. The former Smokey Bones building at 100 Market Place Boulevard is being cleared out to make way for the new restaurant, which was approved by the Peachtree City Planning Commission in 2025.
J. Alexander’s is known for its contemporary American menu with wood-fired steaks, prime rib, seafood, burgers, and salads. The Peachtree City location will join other Georgia locations in Peachtree Corners and Dunwoody.
Cleanup and early construction work have started as the space begins its transition into one of the city’s newest dining spots.
