A Mass Choir Experience with Shawn Kirchner will take place on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 7:30 PM.
Please join us for a powerful mass choir experience featuring singers from community, high school, and UWG choirs, all conducted by internationally renowned composer Shawn Kirchner. The evening will showcase a dynamic collaboration of voices in a shared musical performance.
Kirchner’s compositions draw from folk, carol, and hymn traditions, as well as jazz, gospel, and bluegrass influences. Widely celebrated for his musicianship, his choral works have been performed around the world. He is also the recipient of the 2026 Blackwell Prize in Music.
