The Greater Haralson Chamber is reflecting on a year of significant accomplishments in 2025, marked by its strong commitment to supporting business growth, workforce development, and community engagement across Haralson County. Throughout the year, the Chamber successfully expanded its reach and impact, fostering an environment that encouraged economic development and collaboration.
2025 saw substantial growth in membership, workforce initiatives and economic development, while also fostering new connections throughout the community. Here’s a look back at the key milestones of the year and a glimpse of what’s ahead in 2026.
January
The Greater Haralson Chamber hosted a Coffee Connection at the Gift House in Bremen to kick off the year with great energy, bringing Chamber members together for meaningful networking and engaging conversations. The event provided a strong start to the year, giving attendees the opportunity to connect, build relationships, and support one another as we head into a busy year ahead.
February
On February 20th, the Chamber participated in the Tallapoosa Downtown Master Plan, a transformative vision guiding growth, investment, tourism, and development in the area over the next five to ten years. February also featured several Chamber hosted community workshops, including a Lunch and Learn and a Retail Roundtable, bringing local retailers together for collaboration, education, and meaningful discussion.
March
March 20th marked the Chamber’s annual Homegrown in Haralson Annual Meeting, sponsored by Letel Metrics, bringing together business and community leaders for an evening of networking, celebration, and recognition. The event honored several local businesses and professionals, highlighting the achievements and continued growth of the Haralson County community.
Later in the month, the Chamber hosted Haralson County Day at the Capitol, giving Chamber members, elected officials, and community members the opportunity to connect with state leaders, advocate for local businesses, and witness the legislative process firsthand.
April
On April 16th, the Junior Chamber visited The Possum Patch, where students experienced a hands-on look at farm life and learned what it takes to operate a successful farm. The day continued at Trillium Vineyards, where Bruce Cross provided an inspiring tour and shared the journey from grape to glass, highlighting the many careers involved in the wine industry. A special thank you to the Haralson County Farm Bureau for sharing how agriculture plays a vital role in our local economy and everyday lives.
The month wrapped up with the Women Observing Women (WOW) Luncheon at the Gift House on April 29th, sponsored by It Is Well Healthcare, featuring guest speaker Mindy Miller-Moats of Miller Funeral Home and honoring powerful women making an impact in the community.
June
Starting in June, the Chamber launched the Young Professionals group, a platform for Haralson County’s young people to grow both personally and professionally. This initiative started a goal to help build and shape the community’s future leaders.
August
On August 28th, the Chamber hosted a State of Education Membership Breakfast, presented by West Georgia Technical College, featuring a distinguished panel of educational leaders, including Haralson County Superintendent Dr. Jerry Bell and Bremen City Superintendent Christian Shannon. The event brought together Chamber members, business owners, and community leaders for a meaningful discussion on the future of education and how local businesses can collaborate with and support our educational systems.
September
On September 10th, the Greater Haralson Chamber hosted Marketing Bootcamp #3, focused on generating creative content to fill sales pipelines and boost revenue. Attendees learned practical strategies for creating engaging content that attracts leads and converts them into customers, leaving with actionable tools to strengthen their marketing efforts.
We closed out September with our final Coffee Connection of the year, bringing members together for meaningful networking and engaging conversations, sponsored by Stateline Water Damage Restoration.
October
On October 2nd, the Chamber launched its first-ever Women Observing Women: A Night of Elegance and Empowerment at The Venue at Stillwater Pond, building on the success of its annual luncheon. With 3:16 Healthcare as the presenting sponsor, the evening featured a dinner, awards ceremony, and an inspiring keynote address by Renae Bell of Journey Realty Group. More than 150 attendees gathered to celebrate and uplift women from across West Georgia.
The Legislative Membership Breakfast was held on October 10th, featuring guest speakers Senator Tim Bearden and Representative Tyler Paul Smith. Sponsored by RK Redding Construction, the event brought together community and business leaders for an insightful discussion on key state and local issues impacting our region.
The month wrapped up with Lunch on Us at the Greater Haralson Chamber, proudly sponsored by American Commerce Bank, and featured our largest turnout to date. Members enjoyed a complimentary lunch while networking, building connections, and celebrating the strength of our Chamber community.
November
The Greater Haralson Chamber hosted its Annual Economic Development Membership Breakfast, presented by Carroll EMC, featuring Bradley Harris of Georgia EMC. The event provided valuable insights into Georgia’s economic outlook, including trends impacting business growth, investment, and emerging opportunities, while offering attendees a chance to connect with fellow business and community leaders.
December
On December 2nd, the Greater Haralson Chamber hosted a Housing Summit at the Haralson County College and Career Academy in partnership with the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government. The summit brought together more than 40 representatives from government, real estate, and home building to discuss housing trends, challenges, and growth solutions and to set goals that address the future needs of the Haralson County community.
To wrap up the year, the Chamber concluded its 2025 Marketing Bootcamp series with a “How to Brand Your Business” session on December 10th, featuring guest speaker Alyson Nesbitt, owner of Halcyon Business Group. The series provided valuable marketing strategies to local business owners and Chamber members.
