The Bremen Education Foundation (BEF) proudly awarded nearly $32,000 in grants to support 32 classrooms across the Bremen City School District, continuing its mission to invest in innovative and meaningful educational opportunities for all students.
The grants were awarded today through surprise classroom visits, as BEF representatives visited schools throughout the district to personally notify teachers that their grant proposals had been selected. The unexpected celebrations highlighted the Foundation’s appreciation for educators and their commitment to enhancing student learning.
Teachers submitted grant applications during the fall semester, outlining creative projects, instructional resources, and classroom initiatives designed to enrich student experiences and improve educational outcomes. Each proposal was carefully reviewed, with funding awarded to projects that promote innovation, engagement, and academic growth.
“The Bremen Education Foundation is proud to support our teachers and students,” said a BEF director, Christina Hightower. “These grants empower educators to bring new ideas to life in their classrooms and provide learning experiences that might not otherwise be possible.”
The Bremen Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting innovative, educational opportunities for all students in the Bremen City School District. Through grants, partnerships, and community support, BEF works to enhance educational excellence across the district.
