Courthouse Closures & Delayed Opening – Carroll County Governor Brian Kemp has advised that state employees do not have to report to work today. As a result, the following updates apply to the Carroll County Courthouse which affects some of the courts, the DAs office and Public Defenders Office. Also,
Carroll County Magistrate Court CLOSED today – Probate Court will open at 11 AM.
Carroll County Solicitor’s Office will delay opening until 11:00 a.m. BUT Carroll County government will open and operate as normal at 8am.
Southland Veterinary Services, P.C. will delay opening until 10:00AM
First Class Roofing and Solar will be closed tomorrow
Bowdon Coffee Roasters is planning to open at 9 tomorrow

Carrollton Club: Due to the forecasted winter weather and the potential for icing conditions, Carrollton Club will be closed on Monday, January 26th for the safety of our residents and staff.

Three Rivers: Due to the weather that is expected to continue overnight, the Transit services will not be running Monday, January 26th. Dispatchers will be any to reschedule any rides, give us a call at 855-407-7433. We hope everyone stays warm and safe!
One Life Fitness: January 26th, 2026, we are delaying our opening time to 8:00am due to the inclement weather. Kid’s Club will also be closed for our morning hours, and all Group Fitness morning classes have been cancelled.
Bremen City Schools announces a Weather Day on Monday, January 26th.
Carrollton City Schools Families: Tomorrow, Monday, Jan. 26, will be an at-home learning day out of an abundance of caution due to freezing temperatures and the potential for icy roads. More information was sent to families via email and text through Infinite Campus. Teachers will provide further instructions regarding at-home work. Please stay safe, and we plan to see students back on campus on Tuesday, Jan. 27.
Carroll County Schools will have a distance learning day on Monday, January 26. This Distance Learning Day includes all students and employees. All extracurricular activities are canceled for Monday. Schools and teachers will be sending out specific information and assignments to students. Please refer to our Distance Learning Day webpage for more information.
