he City of LaGrange will host its annual Arbor Day Celebration on Friday, February 20th, at 1:30 p.m. at the 800 block of Hunnicutt Street.

There will be an annual tree planting and a short program. Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Theta Xi Omega Chapter, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Theta Nu Lambda Chapter, purchased two trees as part of their community service project. Members of both chapters will be on hand to participate in the planting and program.
Arbor Day is a holiday that encourages everyone to plant and care for trees. The City of LaGrange is recognized as a Tree City USA Community.
