The UWG Theatre Company is happy to present our third show of the “Opposites Attract” season: Songs & Stories: Cabaret 2026. What happens when a group of friends gets transported into the world of a board game Jumanji-style? Centered on the theme of Allies & Enemies, witness what happens when relationships are tested. Will those you call friends become your enemies? Songs & Stories brings you a look into both the exhilarating and the frustrating side of the bonds we form throughout our lives.
The show is a student devised piece directed by student Amahri Richard for his senior capstone project. Songs & Stories is UWG Theatre Company’s yearly production that takes familiar songs from Broadway hits and weaves them into scenes created by the cast.
Songs & Stories: Cabaret 2026 will be performed in the Townsend Center Dangle Theatre on Wednesday, March 4th through Saturday, March 7th at 7:30 PM, with a matinee on Sunday, March 8th at 2:30 PM. Tickets will be $15 for adults, $5 for students with UWG ID and children 16 years of age and younger, and $10 for seniors or military.
