Miami Made Fish and Chicken is preparing to open a new location in LaGrange as renovations continue on a building along Whitesville Road near the Red Roof Inn (old Days Inn). The restaurant previously operated at 217 New Franklin Road in the building that now houses Dunkin.
The building that will house the new restaurant received a complete exterior makeover earlier this year. In February, the property was given a fresh paint job that dramatically improved the appearance of the building and has already caught the attention of people traveling along Whitesville Road.
While an official grand opening date has not yet been announced, the restaurant is actively working to complete renovations and prepare the space for customers. Updates shared online indicate the team is continuing construction and working toward opening the new location soon.
Miami Made Fish and Chicken is known for its menu featuring a variety of seafood and comfort food favorites. Popular items include fried fish such as whiting, flounder, and perch, along with chicken wings and chicken tenders. One of the signature menu items is the Miami DBL burger, which has become a favorite among returning customers. Meals are often served with classic sides such as fries, coleslaw, and a drink.
